Type Arabic with familiar English keys
Fast keyboard converts English letters and supported number shortcuts into Arabic as you type. Its letter alternatives work in the browser, so you can compose Arabic without the word-suggestion service.

Arabic textسلام
These text examples come from the keyboard. Arabic remains selectable text; this comparison is not an editor screenshot.
Click English keys or type on your physical keyboard. Supported input becomes Arabic immediately.
Try the letter and number shortcuts
Type slam: s → س, l → ل, a → ا, m → م. The letters immediately form سلام.
Letter case can matter: s produces sin, while uppercase S produces sad. Fast does not guess a whole word or automatically add short vowels.
Choose the exact letter you need
A caret popup offers alternatives for supported letters. Click a choice, or use Down and Enter.
Correct a letter while keeping your place
Type a to insert alif. Its popup offers related forms, including alif with hamza. You can also type a followed by an apostrophe to produce alif with hamza above.
Move the caret with arrow keys to revisit a supported letter. Left and right still move normally. Press Down to enter alternatives opened by caret movement, then use Up or Down and Enter. Escape dismisses the popup.
Displayed Alt+number shortcuts also choose an alternative. The choice replaces its target letter while preserving surrounding text. Undo reverses that edit.
Add vowel marks after a letter
The final row provides Fatha, Fathatan, Damma, Dammatan, Shadda, Sukun, Kasra, and Kasratan.
Place harakat without inserting a dotted circle
Place the caret after the base letter, then click its mark. The dotted circle on a key helps show the mark; it is not inserted into your text. Marks are available in all three typing methods.
Marks are separate characters. Review their placement and use Undo if you add the wrong one. Existing marks stay in the text when a Fast letter alternative replaces the base letter.
Make Arabic text easy to read
Change the appearance of the complete draft from Text style. Start with Noto Kufi Arabic at 22 px, then adjust it for your task.
What the style controls change
Open Text style to choose a font, set a size from 12 to 120 px, change the text color, or apply bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough. These settings apply to the whole draft rather than a selected phrase.
Text direction is independent of the interface language. Keep right-to-left for an Arabic paragraph. Reset style restores the starting appearance without clearing the words.
Copy, download, or look up your text
Copy the draft, download an editable Word document, or save a PNG image. Use Search your text for a web search or share action.
Choose the output for your next step
Copy copies the complete draft as text. Save Word (.docx) keeps editable text and the selected overall style. Save image (.png) produces a white-background image; its words are no longer editable as text in that image.
Word and image files are created in your browser. An oversized image can reach a limit; shorten the draft or use Word if the image cannot be created.
Search your text uses a selected passage when one is selected, otherwise the complete draft. Choose a destination and press Open to send that text to the external service.
Try it in three steps
Choose Fast keyboard
Select the Fast keyboard tab. Its on-screen keys show English labels.
Write سلام
Type slam: s → س, l → ل, a → ا, m → م. The letters immediately form سلام.
Review and keep the result
Choose letter alternatives or marks, then copy the draft or download Word or PNG.
